This place is like stepping back in time to when girls wore poodle skirts and guys wore leather jackets and greased their hair. The two-room establishment offers grilled sandwiches, chili, great hamburgers and the like. The walls are adorned with pictures of actors from the time period and each booth has an old-time jukebox. I sat at the counter my bacon was like rubber not crispy my eggs were cold and I couldn't get attention by any of the waiters or waitresses....and everybody that worked there were speaking Spanish amongst themselves and it's very uncomfortable when you don't speak the language
I ordered the 3 eggs any style and added bacon, potatoes, wheat toast and the stone ground grits. I enjoyed my breakfast. Not sure I'd spend $2.95 for the grits again. They were good, but don't feel they give you enough to charge $2.95. Will definitely be back!
