This place is like stepping back in time to when girls wore poodle skirts and guys wore leather jackets and greased their hair. The two-room establishment offers grilled sandwiches, chili, great hamburgers and the like. The walls are adorned with pictures of actors from the time period and each booth has an old-time jukebox. The shakes are thick and arrive, as they should, with a metal cup with just a bit extra for later. You can't miss a chance to experience the tasty nostalgia of Cafe 50's

Incredible service , food & experience
The worst service ever because we are Hispanic they didn’t treat us the way they were treating other customers also when we were asked what we wanted to drink they referred to my nephew as the kid
Business response:
We are shocked and upset that you feel we are racist. Café 50’s has two owners, Emiliana is from Mazatlán, MX and Craig is from Germany and his longtime girlfriend is from Uruapan, MX. All except for three of our entire staff are Latino. We assure you that we are not racist, and do not discriminate against any customer. We love all our customers. We’re sorry that you did not receive our normal great service. We always have a manager on duty and we wish you had brought this up in-person so that we could resolve any issues imm... read more

i must say it's awesome experience, just loved it
Classic 50’s style Diner with cool vintage decor and very good menu choices! Worth the stop if you’re in the area looking for a traditional American breakfast. Had a nice sausage platter and wife had an avacado Benedict. Recommended!
Best diner on the Westside! Can't beat it! Great food , great service , & reasonable prices
