This place is like stepping back in time to when girls wore poodle skirts and guys wore leather jackets and greased their hair. The two-room establishment offers grilled sandwiches, chili, great hamburgers and the like. The walls are adorned with pictures of actors from the time period and each booth has an old-time jukebox. The shakes are thick and arrive, as they should, with a metal cup with just a bit extra for later. You can't miss a chance to experience the tasty nostalgia of Cafe 50's

So many ants..literally everywhere I looked while sitting at the diner counter there was another ant. So unsettling. By the time our food arrived we felt like we had to move to a table to eat peacefully. Waitress didn't seem phased or apologetic when it was brought to her attention, so it seems to be a common problem (this is confirmed by their last Health Dept visit in August). Food isn't bad, but for the overall atmosphere, not worth the price to eat in, and certainly don't feel comfortable ordering for delivery/to go.
If for nothing else, you have to go for their shakes!! They are awesome, the staff is awesome as well.

Usually get the all day breakfast or the avocado BLT. The pumpkin pie shake is always aweseome.
Great deviled eggs. Really tasty burgers. Lots of great specials and coupons too
