Update: They called and worked to fix some of the issues, I’ve since updated my review from a 1 to a 4. I hope they can empower their people a little more as a result. So if you give to a charitable cause and make a contribution and win the hotel stay and two buffets here, have a photo of the certificate and make reservations and talk to them, then you arrive without the paper itself they will not honor it unless you have the actual paper. The buffet in and of itself is worth the trip! Stayed here many of times, played MANY, MANY of slots (and swallowed just as many if not more complimentary Jack & Diets while playing said slots), watched some great shows both at the amphitheater and in the Gala Showroom - I've done Cactus Pete's both as a family trip and as a guys night out - and never ONCE disappointed. Super-friendly staff, super-clean and comfy rooms, and even an arcade so the kid gets HIS gaming in too! Love this place - will re-visit as often as I can!

Decent casino. Buffet is really expensive for the selection of food, but good quality food served

The good: hotel was older but about what you expect for the price. The staff at the buffet, and check-in were pleasant. The bad: never spent so much money and won so little. Hundreds of dollars and very few payoffs. I didn't notice anyone else winning much either. The bartender acted like he was insulted if he had to talk and even ignored customers. One server was rude. I am here at cactus Pete's regularly. It's fun! The music is top notch on the cabaret stage. The drinks are mixed very well. The gaming team is always courteous, the bar tenders have good social skills. The slots are particular which is expected. The food in the desert room has raised, I don't eat there often anymore. And the rooms even at the Antelope inn are very nice and comfortable so. I give this place 4.5 out of 5 which is excellent!
