Our experiences over the years have been 5-star quality. We see the current owners as very committed to quality ... all the way.
Tower rooms need non-smoking access. You need to walk through the smoky casino to get to the elevators. Bed was hard. Shower water mixer needs repair. It spins around. Can't control hot and cold water.

The hotel seems to have gone down hill over the past three years. The rooms are still nice but there is no one taking care of noise complaints. We had poeople above us that were partying until 4 AM! We called the Front Fesk every hour on the hour since Midnight to handle the situation but nothing ever got solved! We did not sleep at all in a room we paid $100. Stayed here Christmas evening on our way home from Las Vegas. Cactus Petes front desk people were very friendly and helpful even so working on a holiday. The guy even gave us the $10 discount when we asked if they would match the hotels dot com price. So thank you for that, so kind. We got a 2nd floor room and was impressed it was much larger than our room in Vegas and cleaner.
