Having been a server previously, it was kind of a tight fit amongst tables, but our server was honest about not knowing much about wine (and I'm such a wine snob) but she rocked otherwise. The food was of course amazing! Can't wait to try the tasting menu!
C.1880 is truly special...a jewel in the crown of Milwaukee's fine dining scene. The atmosphere is modern with rustic warmth. The food is consistently delicious. Each dish is precisely executed, yet expressively and artfully presented. The menu changes seasonally and includes fresh, local ingredients. We especially love the friendly chef, management, and staff. We are always made to feel welcome and they make a very complicated dance seem effortless.
Sensational food, stoic service, and excellent wine.
I have been wanting to try C.1880 for longer than I have been married. Finally made it in for our 3 year anniversary. It was worth the wait. The food was excellent. The service was second to none. Joshua and Aaron went out of their way to provide the best dining experience. The food presentation was soo beautiful! I left soo full and satisfied. I recommend everyone put this on their bucket list! The tasting menu is a must! My only regret is that I didn't make it in sooner!
