I was diagnosed last year by Dr. Schramm with a rare, progressive auto immune disease that attacks the liver. He ordered all the right tests and made the diagnosis in a very timely manner. He also took me off of a statin drug that was adversely affecting my liver and ramping up my symptoms. He then turned me over to a gastroenterologist who specializes in this illness, and a liver biopsy confirmed Dr. Schramm's diagnosis. I can get through to the front staff on the phone without going through a menu and I can leave a message... read more
Staff members are cold, abrasive, and hostile toward patients. Dr. Schramm is helpful and attentive. Low rating is based on degrading treatment by staff.
RUDE RUDE STAFF. They will NICKEL AND DIME YOU TO DEATH! They make you pay extra if you have to get a doctor signature on ANY document, like a school physical form, immunization form, work excuse (even if you bring in the document yourself.) They also collect co-pay even if the insurance company covers your service 100%- I had preventive care shots and ended up paying for both.
I have a very pronounced heart murmur/MVP w regurgitation. He is the only doctor to NOT hear it. I said nothing, not my job, I knew he wasn’t the doc for me. He also prescribed meds that are not suggested for my condition. I did not take. His nurse doesn’t know a thing about hormone imbalance, and the compound she suggested, she was unaware a prescription was required at the pharmacy. The good, if you are sick, they can fit you in, bladder infection, yeast, flu, etc. He is a family practice doctor and good for those things. ... read more
I have been going to Dr Schramm for almost 10 years now. He is such a wonderful doctor and very knowledgeable. I'm not so crazy about the office staff, but these days there is not much you can do about that. His PA Lisa is also very wonderful. They both take the time to listen to what I have to say and make recommendations. When I was very sick this past winter, Dr. Schramm called me at home to check on me. I live far away from where his office is, but I will continue to drive any distance to see him!
Dr. Schramm has always been most professional And helpful, as well as his pa. Would recommend His services to my friends.
Called to make an appointment and was treated like crap by the assistant! She told me to call back in 3 hours and hung up! I will NEVER consider going here. AWFUL!!!
This is a businessman, not a doctor. I gave him a couple of chances and he has yet to diagnose any problem correctly. When referred to other doctors, they kind of laughed with a, of course this is not that, your doctor thinks this is that? I am sure he wants to make sure he makes a certain amount of money, which is fair for a businessman, but when I am with a doctor I do not want to feel like we are speed dating and the buzzer is about go off. But that is what our health care system has become and I think I am going to start... read more
Dr. Schramm is very knowledgeable and up to date. Yes, sometimes you have to wait but that is the sign of a good practitioner. You can always request to see him and not his PA. Communication is the key. As a nurse, I would highly recommend him.
