We're a fun and funky family restaurant on the banks of the Brazos River specializing in Cajun and Creole cooking, we're happy to keep it spicy or make it milder if that's your preference. We've been voted the best seafood in town. We serve hot boiled crawfish and fresh oysters on the half shell when they're in season. I've been here twice once at night and had a sirloin steak which was great and cooked perfect. I went another time for lunch an had a cheeseburger that was very good.
The ambiance is great. Everything else kind sucked. 45 min wait to get seated. But we saw empty tables everywhere. Meaning they were just understaffed or something? On a Saturday night? Food was mediocre, as was the service. Lady was nice and god love her.. But she was in outerspace. I'm still wrestling with the alfredeaux. 24 hours later. Im Not even a review guy. But it popped up on fb. And I was let down enough to actually type a review. Bartender was cool. Should of just ate at the bar.
Love love LOVE this place! ~ Always have, but the new outside patio is AMAZING!! ~ Great food, great atmosphere, great service!! ~ If you have kids, feeding the ducks off the deck is such a fun experience with the littles! - Must go for sure!!

I call before we got there and the lady on the phone told me it was a 45 minute wait so we still decide to go. Then when we got there they told us it was an hour and a half so we decided to wait.2 hours later we ask how much longer and the hostess said 10 more minutes ,20 minutes went by and again we asked how much longer again another 10 minutes. So finally we get seated waitress came and got our drink order We asked for fried pickles she came back and told us she was out. So we ordered our food just to receive over cooked ... read more

My husband and our friend had the Louisiana Shrimp Boil, they have ordered this many times. Usually really good with some Cajun seasoning, this last night had no seasoning but way too much Chili powder! Neither one of them finished it! Wait staff was excellent, but we will not be back!
Gator tails -excellent! Love the new additions to the restaurant. Great service by our waiter.

Our first visit here since remodel. Love the new bar and restrooms. Menu has scaled down and no longer had my blackened talapia. I ordered the chicken quesadilla and it was wonderful. Big pieces of moist chicken and peppers. My husband had jambalaya with chicken and sausage and liked it.
