We're a fun and funky family restaurant on the banks of the Brazos River specializing in Cajun and Creole cooking, we're happy to keep it spicy or make it milder if that's your preference. The crawfish were not fully cooked and were horrible!!! I also ordered Mahi Mahi and � it was alllllright... disappointed for sure. Now the raspberry lemonade alcoholic beverage was awesome� long story short....not going back.
We have been wanting to try this place for awhile and finally did on one of our many trips through Waco. I really was not impressed with the food. The front hostesses were friendly. Our waiter was nice but the only complaint I have is that I sat with a empty water cup half of our time there. I’m thirsty! The armadillo eggs were ok, a little cold. As always we enjoyed our time at Buzzard Billy's. The menu is always a study and it is always hard to make our decicion as to what we want to enjoy as we have never ordered anything we did not enjoy. We love setting outside and our view of the Brazos was very nice. The wildlife was active and added to the experience. Thank you Buzzard Billy's for another great time and great food.
Well as a first timer and being from out of town, it wasn’t exactly the best experience for dining out. Started out at the bar, ordered drinks and appetizers. Waited about 40 minutes for a table when there were empty tables all over the place, got to the place before 5:00pm, not usually a busy time. Everything was amazing! The view was amazing! And my Salmom club sandwich was amazing!!!
Food was good but the the service sucks. We waited one and half hours to get fried catfish. Then other couple we was with they brought there food out and it was cold after about the same wait time.
Great atmosphere!! Loved sitting outside. Food was great!!
