Thank you mr moss and staff for another excellent lunch.. People if you have not been what are you waiting for...
BBQ and sides were wonderful, very expensive for BBQ though. I do understand grass fed local pork is probably more expensive but all menu items are a bit pricey.
BBQ was good. Service was fast. 4.25 for hush puppies that lacked salt onion sweet and all the flavor was expected to all be made up by the jalapeño. Southern mustard potato salad, Meh, no flare at all. Bland baked beans. Salty coleslaw, oy! The chess pie was on its way to a nice flavor but fell short, and the half slice at 7.00 made it all the more flat. Maybe the catfish and Mac and cheese would be better. but that's not BBQ is it. 50$ tab. I won't be back. Native Asheville
Hands down the best restaurant experience I've had. The staff there are great! We were part of a wedding party that came in and they treated us amazingly.i couldn't say enough good things. I hope the best for this place, there aren't many like it.thank you guys again! -mike from new hampshire.
Different from your average BBQ joint. Very cool atmosphere and great beer and craft cocktails.
Service sucks.... No butts about it. It took an hour to get my drink. I sat down asked for a on tap cocktail and it took the end.of my meal to get it. Food was good and the vinegar sauce delicious but the wait staff struggled. I was expecting much more from an Moss restaurant. Bbq was good but not amazing. Eat at little pigs. You will get your food faster
Elliott has taken the time to do this place right! We already knew he was the most talented whole-hog purveyor in the new south. Now he has the creative license to reimagine southern cuisine as only he can. Coupled with a warm, even joyous space and a friendly, enthusiastic waitstaff, Buxton Hall has landed solidly at the top of a somewhat burgeoning Asheville food scene. Every bite was heaven. The hush puppies cannot be touched! Fresh pies OMFG. Don't skip this one!
Amazing food and beer. Great service, Russ the bartender for president!
Came in on opening day and sat at the bar and everything was incredible. Can't wait to come back.
