Three of five dishes excellent: tartare, cauliflower, and pig wing. Pig candy undercooked (but removed from bill), wild boar carbonara was fine except some slightly sweet component. Drinks were very good. Well worth another visit.
Highly recommend. We have been here twice and suggest going on a weekday evening for best service. We ordered the dirty pasta, pig candy, and the rabbit. All amazing dishes well worth the price. Staff was friendly. Will be back on our next trip to Pittsburgh.
The drinks were tasty, the Sunday Gravy was superb, the rainbow trout was the best I’ve ever had(I’ve had a lot), and the apple fritters were some of the best desserts I’ve had in years. This place made my wife and I feel at home, and it’s down home cooking with a new age twist!
