The Busy Bee is a hometown favorite for no-nonsense, down-home cooking. The locals outnumber tourists, a telling indicator of the Busy Bee's style. Red faux-leather booths line one wall, opposed by an old-time diner-style counter with red false-leather topped stools. No fancy New Southern pretenses here, just bona fide Dixie standbys like fried chicken, oxtails, smothered pork chops, fresh fried corn, greens, and candied yams. The marriage of soul food and Southern tradition is a happy one, and it comes pretty cheap, too.

Food was amazing! I don’t usually eat bone in chicken, but I decided to give it a try and it was GREAT! Mac and cheese was like your favorite auntie’s family recipe. And the dressing let’s just say made me feel like thanksgiving! ❤️❤️

Terrible customer service Ordered online, order was to be ready in 30 minutes. Arrived and was told it about 15 more minutes unfortunately I waited and an hour and 30 minutes for my food.cashier was rude and didn't even try to check on my food 😡😡

My family and I had linner(lunchandinner) yesterday, and our food was amazing and our waitress Sheila even better 👍🏽👍🏽. We had a little bit of a wait time but it was worth the wait. Ain’t nothing like some good ole down south cooking. If you are ever in the “A” make sure you visit Busy Bee Cafe... ~Sutherngirl but lives in Michigan
