No fancy New Southern pretenses here, just bona fide Dixie standbys like fried chicken, oxtails, smothered pork chops, fresh fried corn, greens, and candied yams. The marriage of soul food and Southern tradition is a happy one, and it comes pretty cheap, too.

Between the service, food, and price... just excellence! Amazing to see a black business strive. Highly suggest it. Especially the chicken, mac, and yams!

This is my spot for southern food. If you’re in a hurry call in ahead of time for some take out but if you can wait a little ( because it’s a small spot that stay busy) sit down and enjoy some good ol soul food. I’ve had the whole menu and everything is awesome. But my go to are the smothered pork chops
