The Busy Bee is a hometown favorite for no-nonsense, down-home cooking. The locals outnumber tourists, a telling indicator of the Busy Bee's style. Red faux-leather booths line one wall, opposed by an old-time diner-style counter with red false-leather topped stools. No fancy New Southern pretenses here, just bona fide Dixie standbys like fried chicken, oxtails, smothered pork chops, fresh fried corn, greens, and candied yams. The marriage of soul food and Southern tradition is a happy one, and it comes pretty cheap, too.

I went here on my Birthday and the food was fantastic. We will definitely be back when we are in the ATL area. Keep going strong with all the delicious food. My only suggestion is to build a larger establishment to cut down on the wait time. Try the freshly squeezed lemonade. You won't regret it.
Hands down the BEST soul food in the WORLD... I can't visit the A without stopping by. The mac and cheese gives me life.
Great fried chicken and yams.
I was in town for the Honda Battle of the Bands this past weekend with some of my friends and while looking for another restaurant we came across Busy Bee Cafe. The atmosphere was family oriented and the staff was exceptional!! The food was outstanding!! I will definitely eat there again when I come back to Atlanta.
The food was excellent! And the service was great
Best southern cuisine ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Very delicious food. Everything was good. The cake and desserts are on the high side @$7.00 a pop! I had the key lime cake, wasn’t that great especially for $7.00 a slice. My sister tried the banana pudding. She loved it.
Best soul food in the country! Chicken and waffles with a side of collard greens! Chef Tracy is a genius. The staff are funny and engaging and I can tell you that I will stop every time I’m in the ATL! Thank you all for treating an old Texas boy like family!
Great food very tasty! The service was very nice! Staff very personable and some were funny 😄! Great personalities ! Go visit next time you’re in Atlanta!!!
