The Busy Bee is a hometown favorite for no-nonsense, down-home cooking. The locals outnumber tourists, a telling indicator of the Busy Bee's style. Red faux-leather booths line one wall, opposed by an old-time diner-style counter with red false-leather topped stools. No fancy New Southern pretenses here, just bona fide Dixie standbys like fried chicken, oxtails, smothered pork chops, fresh fried corn, greens, and candied yams. The marriage of soul food and Southern tradition is a happy one, and it comes pretty cheap, too.

It would give it 5 because the food and our server was excellent. The guy who was taking names for seating was a jerk.
My experience at Busy Bee Cafe was excellent!! After 6 days in Atlanta I was feeling disappointed with the cuisine. But I came across BusyBee and felt redeemed!!! I ordered ox tails, rice and gravy, yams, greens, and mac n cheese and it was delicious!! The service was GREAT and well worth the wait!

You must get by this place, the food is to die for!!! Yes, there is a wait-be prepared. Yes, the sitting is very close, but all of it is well worth it. The name stands true... There are people lined up to get in.. In and out take out, folks waiting for sitting. They close at 7pm though, although management allowed a few folks in even after turning off the "open" sign. A true down home atmosphere, you'll know as soon as you walk in... Love the staff, very accomodating and friendly!
The food was great! My entire family ate everything that was ordered. :)
Ox-Tails are worth the wait.... the sides Are always banging!!!! You gotta try'em out!!
Prices went sky hi on the hood is what kept it going I am one of those came for the ham hocks I started putting my on in my crock pot one for 15.00 that's crazy u use to by from you guys know I just past on by let the rich no cooking out of Towner's have it I my feelings dat Way
BEST SOUL FOOD IN DA BITY. I would recommend anybody n dey mama to come eat good in the hood
