Busy Bee Cafe

4.1

About this business

The Busy Bee is a hometown favorite for no-nonsense, down-home cooking. The locals outnumber tourists, a telling indicator of the Busy Bee's style. Red faux-leather booths line one wall, opposed by an old-time diner-style counter with red false-leather topped stools. No fancy New Southern pretenses here, just bona fide Dixie standbys like fried chicken, oxtails, smothered pork chops, fresh fried corn, greens, and candied yams. The marriage of soul food and Southern tradition is a happy one, and it comes pretty cheap, too.

This was my first time there with family... Great Food, good people but servers could use some training and they could use more space... but overall a good experience. .

I live in Houston Texas, but everytime I visit Atlanta I always take a trip to busy bees for the fine dining experience. The food is excellent and the customer service is A1!

They have a good system not the pen and pencil anymore, they enter you name and number in, then they give you a time and call you when you have a table ready. They told us an hour so we left, you can also check on you phone how close it is before they call you. When we saw we were 6 in line we went back to the restaurant it wasn't even 45 minutes. By the time we got there they were calling us, the service, servers and the food was worth it, it get five stars from us.

Business response:

Thank you. We really love our new system Wait Busters it was the best investment. Striving for better. Enjoy

The service and food was lousy. After waiting 45 mins for 1 to go order, I checked it out as soon as I sat in my car. I almost cried. My plate had sat so long on the counter, they couldn't find my order. My fish was cool to the touch, juice from greens mixed into everything in the plate. I spent $17 in that hole in the wall. I used to eat there several times a week when working at Fulton County back in the 80's. It's a shame. Beautiful gets my $$$$

Business response:
