The Busy Bee is a hometown favorite for no-nonsense, down-home cooking. The locals outnumber tourists, a telling indicator of the Busy Bee's style. Red faux-leather booths line one wall, opposed by an old-time diner-style counter with red false-leather topped stools. No fancy New Southern pretenses here, just bona fide Dixie standbys like fried chicken, oxtails, smothered pork chops, fresh fried corn, greens, and candied yams. The marriage of soul food and Southern tradition is a happy one, and it comes pretty cheap, too.

Omg the food was amazing everything was delicious definitely recommend this place to anyone especially coming from out of town I was really impressed 😊
For this to be one of most popular restaurants in atl , im disappointed. The yams were okay, nothing to brag about or even southern style, the mac and cheese was mediocre and the ribs were flat our disgusting. they were tough and the sauce had a weird taste. My Lil Sis from another mother was here from Chicago for a conference. She wanted to meet up for dinner so I knew exactly where I would take her. One of her coworkers joined us and when I tell you they loved the food. I told them it was awesome! They told another coworker and she is going today with her family. They came to ATL with her. One of my favorite restaurants!

I remember when i was a little kid my mom took me to Busy Bees and yes the food was great. Now after all of these years the food is still great and on point! My wife and daughter loved it also. Man i tell you the turkey wings, dressing and collard greens we're off the chain! I also love the environment being that I'm African American i love black people and being around black people!
