The Busy Bee is a hometown favorite for no-nonsense, down-home cooking. The locals outnumber tourists, a telling indicator of the Busy Bee's style. Red faux-leather booths line one wall, opposed by an old-time diner-style counter with red false-leather topped stools. No fancy New Southern pretenses here, just bona fide Dixie standbys like fried chicken, oxtails, smothered pork chops, fresh fried corn, greens, and candied yams. The marriage of soul food and Southern tradition is a happy one, and it comes pretty cheap, too.

everything is fresh and homade
today was our first time visiting and we definitely will be back. Best soul food I've tasted in a long time!!! Everything was hot and delicious!!
The food and prices were extremely good
Food and service is wonderful. Establishment is very small but they move the guests through pretty quickly. It is worth the wait. Near the historical black universities, Clark Atlanta and Morris Brown College.

Ordered food to go online. Waited over an hour and then was told they forgot our order. Told us it would be 30 to 45 minutes wait time. We wanted to cancel the order but was told we would have to cancel through PostMates. Of course PostMates would not have a phone number. So we had to call our credit card company to try to cancel the transaction. Have to wait until the charge post to the card then file a dispute. Busy Bee has terrible customer service. For that I give them an F. They need to get their act together!!!!
Fried Chicken here is something else. great tasting and moist. I'm coming here again before I leave.
