They were on time and everybody was very caring and professional. Dr Burton had a great demeanor. Only complaint was a resident attended my visit and Dr Burton spoke to the resident the entire time, as if I wasn’t there. I was the patient. The Dr should speak to me.
Dr. Burton replaced my right hip and straightened my pelvis with a large screw. The damage to my hip had likely been as old me (65) when he corrected the whole area and gave me legs of the same length - a real gift. "magically" that also removed the sway back I had all my life. Dr. Burton also paid attention to my other chronic conditions while treating me for the hip.
Dr Burton was so personable I really felt he actually cared about my condition. You don’t get that much these days... Dr. Burton patiently explained my condition then he laid out the options for me. No pressure. He answered all my questions then said for me to take my time to make a decision on how I wanted to move forward. I feel very blessed that Dr. Burton was the doctor that was available for my appointment. I was nervous but It turned out to be such a pleasure and a comforting experience because of Dr Burton.
Yes, yes and yes. Dr. Burton in my opinion is at the top of the list for any doctors. He has a pleasant professional demeanor. He lets you know that he is there for you and caring for your best medical advice and treatment. I went to see him for a second opinion for my knee and leg pain. Prior I had and was seeing another orthopedic surgeon for over eighteen months. I was getting pain shots and placed on drugs for my pain. Helpful, knowledgeable, detailed and talented doctor.
Dr Burton is my regular ortho doctor. He is a good listener which I love. He gives you all your options for treatment including therapy and does not pressure you to immediately have surgery. I trust him to always give me the best advice on how to proceed.
Yes I would recommend Dr. Burton to all those inquiring about knee replacements. He might be one of the only orthopedics whom actually gave what I've truly needed to hear in two visits, to delay or avoid replacement surgery in my life. I usually push for replacements, now thanks to Dr. Burton I have new goal. To avoid having any knee replacements ever. I saw Dr Burton for a consult on my hip. After reviewing xrays & examining my hip, he patiently explained my condition & my options and answered every question I had. When I'm ready, he is the one I'll choose!
I needed a knee replacement and searched the web for a Physician that was not only highly qualified but also one that listened, cared and would be there for me if I had issues following the surgery. I had experienced medication issues with my other knee replacement and was not looking forward to the second one.
