Dr Burton decided to tell my 13 year old daughter that her daddy treated her mother like sh_t because he divorced her mother. She went on to say that my daughters mother loved her more than I did because a mothers bond is closer than a fathers. This woman shouldn’t be allowed to practice medicine. She’s a joke and takes out aggression on divorced fathers bc her husband left her.

Ms Burton is neither compassionate nor empathetic. I was appalled when I heard her demeanor toward my wife and son. I also work in health care, and would never treat or speak to my patients the way this “Dr” did. Left my wife in tears after my wife was just asking for help and clarification. Shame on you Pamela. She cannot get past her own huge ego to even consider a different point of view. Happy to say my family went elsewhere for actual care and my son is doing SO MUCH BETTER away from this woman . Do better.

We went in for a new patient appointment and were shocked by Dr. Burton’s unprofessionalism, aggression and lack of empathy. Poor bedside manner doesn’t even do it justice - her behavior was an outright character flaw. She was extremely defensive when it came to any question we asked and was aggressive with our 3 year old who was hysterically crying and did not want her to touch him. Best Pediatrician we have ever had. Dr. Burton is thoughtful and professional. She's also very laid back and has a peaceful demeanor about her. Very easy and comfortable to be around. We feel very lucky to have her as our pediatrician.

Dr. Burton is wise and full of knowledge. If by chance she's not familiar with something she isn't afraid to do research and get back to you. She never looks down on me when I ask questions and happily explains to me not just so I hear, but that I understand. Dr. Burton is professional but also genuine. I have never come across a doctor like her. Also, the front desk is courteous and the nurses are super great and they care as well. -Mother of 4 girls drives 30 minutes each way just for DrBurton

I went in for a sick visit with my 21 month old daughter and I felt completely satisfied with the service that I received from Dr. Burton. She talked me through a needed procedure and was enthusiastically engaged with my daughter who is typically timid with doctors.

Dr. Burton has been my daughter's pediatrician since she was 3 years old or so (she's 11 now). Even after we moved from Chattanooga to Cleveland TN, I still found it worth it to drive the distance with a sick child in tow, just to see her. She sincerely cares, and my daughter was always timid around doctors but Dr. Burton made her so comfortable always. She doesn't accept our new insurance, but if I had the financial means to pay out of pocket to keep her as my daughter's PCP, I would! GREAT!

Works part time since she has two small children. Since she is 50 years old with toddlers, she seems overwhelmed with trying to juggle everything. My child saw her from birth to age 15 and I am no longer confident in her as our pediatrician. She has become rather complacent. She will make you play phone tag with the nurse but has never contacted me personally when I requested it. We changed to a different practice earlier this year and I'm glad I made the decision to do so. Not recommended
