In 1998 we had an architect draw up plans for our dream home on Kiawah Island. We hired Buffington Builders for the project. They did a fantastic job finishing the home in 2000. We did not live on the island at the time so put all our trust in Buffington Builders. The end result was everything we had ever dreamed of. We totally recommend Buffington Builders as talented, honest and trustworthy. They are always there whenever or if a problem occurs.

I am in my third year of ownership of our Buffington home. The quality of their construction is superb and their integrity throughout construction and after construction is beyond reproach . They continue maintain our home through annual maintenance agreement and we could not be more pleased with the result. We recommend Buffington to build your home without qualification .

Dan, Cathy and staff are an absolute pleasure to work with. I would not trust our dream home to anyone except the Buffington's. Best builders on Kiawah, period!!!!!!!!!! Honest, direct, and caring. I worked with Dan and Cathy Buffington many years ago when I was the project architect on several homes they built. The quality of the work was very high and their management of the projects was exceptional. They did a great job and it was a very good experience for me and for the client! I am a Landscape Architect/Planner ( Landplan Associates) that prepared the site development drawings for Buffington Homes first house on Kiawah Island in the 90's and several since then. They have always been very professional to work with and always seem to have very pleased client's. I have been doing work on Kiawah Island since the 70's and consider them one of the high profile builders.

Buffington Homes and Moluf's Supply have had a working relationship for over 15 years. Moluf's assists Buffington's clients with their plumbing selections from beginning to end of the project. Making selections can sometimes be overwhelming for clients but having Cathy Buffington and her staff hands on makes the process fun and enjoyable!
