This establishment holds the oldest liquor license in the state, and it has been in operation for more than a century. Serving since 1893, this national historic landmark has seen countless wild west icons having a meal here, including the legendary Buffalo Bill Cody. Be aware that the dining room walls are flanked by animal trophy heads, which some diners find as uncomfortably distracting. The menu offers some eye-opening fare such as rattlesnake, yak and fried alligator tail. If you prefer the traditional cuisine, tenderlo... read more

Loved it...Loved the Historic Feel knowing that the place was Over 120 years old...Loved the Whole Experience, it was a little overwhelming!! Great Food and Service!! Will definitely go back again!!
The meal was excellent. The buffalo was incredibly tender, tasty, and juicy. The Elk was less tender, though still good. If I were to go back and order the Elk again, I would get it with the mixed-berry sauce on the side. It was a strong sauce, and fairly bitter, and I think it took away from the flavor of the Elk more than it added.

Thank you for the review and feedback!
my sons 16th birthday was great and the family meal was cooked to perfection
What an experience! Great food and drinks! Our server was super nice and helpful!! Loved it!
I had the elk steak, rare, and it was very tasty. The garlic sauce complements the meat greatly.
This was my second time eating dinner there! First time 4or 5 years ago and it was Awesome! Well worth the money... Sunday 1/15/17 we had dinner there again, not so good this time! We had elk, not nearly as tender and flavorful and the quail was a little tough and cooked in a glaze that didn't do it any favors For the price I am disappointed however staff was very nice... I would recommend this place as it has a lot of history,
