First timers, really enjoyed the history and nostalgia of this original steakhouse. The Buffalo prime rib with garlic mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables was delicious! The service was really good as well and the bartender was good for one joke and if you guessed his birthdate year and month he'd buy you a drink!! I would recommend dining downstairs over upstairs just for the experience.
I've been there a few times in the past, always have had great food & friendly service. This time I finally got my husband to go for the first time. He loved it!!!
Nothing had flavor. It was 'eh' at best. The decor and history are about all it has going for it. It's more of a tourist attraction.

Family dinner last night...alligator, artichoke, buffalo...it was all great!!! Our waiter was full of knowledge and history of the restaurant with a lot of humor!!! Definitely a place to try!!!
