Went last night with a group of 15 for my aunt's birthday. She had never been to SF before and we wanted to take her to a nice restaurant on the pier. We had an hour wait, which was fine. We were a big group and expected to wait. I won't go into all of the issues, but here are the highlights. After waiting an hour for our food, most of it came out 1)wrong 2) cold 3) undercooked. When we arrived, there was a long wait. This was to be expected on a Saturday at Pier 39. We added our name to the list and went on to explore some shops. They texted me about 45 minutes later. We were seated and had a very friendly hostess and waitress. The menu was extensive and it was hard to choose. I had some deep fried shrimp, hush puppies and fries. The hush puppies were amazing. Bom de mais. Comida muito boa e ambiente muito legal pra um jantar.
The bathrooms were dirty and has no toilet paper and it was early in the day for that . The clam chowder was watery and tasteless. The server was nice but was very busy . The food was not good at all . Very greasy . Will not be going back .
