Fun atmosphere, good food. AWESOME service, inside or out! Our girls love it there!
I'm not even from Baltimore. It was my first time in the city. My friend had her Birthday Party at BGS this past weekend. It was the best time spent. Isaiah was our Pre-party bartender as well as our Server. He is outstanding with his people skills. He was able to offer drinks and his other suggestions were exceptional. I'll come back to Baltimore only to see Isaiah.
Unfortunately I had a terrible experience. The food was good but the service was the worst. I asked for an outside table, I was led to a dirty inside window table and asked to sit at a different table while they cleaned it up. I had been told the outside was full, but I could see multiple open outside tables from where I was. Service was very slow even though they were not busy at all. We had a great time. the food was great. Our waitress, Kendal was fabulous. We really enjoyed playing Forest Gump trivia . We would definitely go there again.
The service was excellent. They gave us seating on the patio so our dog can sit with us. We were waited promptly and never had to ask or look for our waiter. Unfortunately, the food was below average. I had the clam chowder, which was a bit bland. I also had the fried fish strip and coconut shrimp. The coconut shrimp was ok. The fish however was horrible. I made a seating request and the hostess (foreign accent and very difficult to understand) said to me "you can't do that". I said get me a manager and her tune changed. I pointed at a spot under the awning(inside) and she said, "that is a table for 4-6 guest". I said does it matter, the restaurant is not busy. Finally another hostess came to my rescue and seated me.
