Truly awful – After seeing a ton of different restaurant come and go in this same location, I was rather excited that a "burger" place was about to open. I've had tons of burgers at different restaurants over the years and I must say i'd rather eat a Big mac than go to this place ever again. something unwelcomed in my burger – Went there last friday night with my wife.After what seemed like an eternity, we finally received our food.When i bit into my burger there was some kind of unrecognizable object in the meat, when i pointed this out to the waitress I was ignored. I will never patronize this establishment again.
Avoid – there's something to be said for a wait staff who a) knows the menu and b) speaks english. the BLT, which claims on the menu, to come with aioli, came with none, and after asking our waitress and two bussers (3 people!!!!) for that and a side of ranch, we waited 15 minutes. after which time they came with onion rings that we did not order, which we were later billed for. and the aioli we received? mayo and ketchup, improv'ed thousand island dressing. Great Burgers – We are so psyched that a place like this opened up in the area. The first few times the service was a little slow, but fortunately we gave this place another shot and it is one that we go back to often. The mini burgers are great - prices are reasonable. Would like for them to over time have more burger add options (ie., jalapeno). Otherwise this is a great spot for a beer and burger and there's a pool table too. Perfect!!
Critters and Bad Burgers – Please don't bother with this place. I actually created a reviewer account just to warn you. I'm a regular restaurant diner, especially in Brooklyn, and a self-proclaimed burger connoisseur. I figured a place called the Burger Bar was bound to have at least a decent burger. THE PLACE TO BE FOR A TASTY BURGER!!! – I'm glad a real burger joint finally opened up in our lovely neighborhood. I went there on several occassions and had a great dining experience for a burger bar. The staff was friendly and the burgers were very tasty. I ordered a medium burger and is was prepared to perfection. The artichoke dip was amazing. Great beer selection. I will definately dine there again!!!
Avoid this place at all costs! – My husband and I went there for brunch this Sunday. It wasn't very crowded, but they seem to have one person working the floor. We waited for ten minutes to order: 2 bloody maries, 1 coffee, and 2 burgers to our very bored looking waiter. The bloody maries were some of the worst in the city. A void by all means!! CLOSED BY THE HLTH DEPT – To all that dont know ...... This placed was closed down by the hlth dept. This just re-enforces everyones bad views on this place. Its truly HORRID!!! Things must have been bad in this place to get shut down. STAY CLEAR OF THIS ONE
Just have to say an owner who collects garbage now serves garbage!!!!! Beware!!! – White Castle fills my crave for a better burger , and thats not saying much about this place.
