The worst!!!!! – Stay clear of this unhealthy place. A very disappointing experience. Food wasn't good at all. There are so many other place to go, why would you come here.
Worst Service Ever – This place just sucks...slow apathetic service with overpriced mediocre food. I was so psyched when this place opened up because I love burgers and it had an attractive facade. Do not be fooled and stay clear.
Closed by the HLTH DEPT!! check out heath dept findings – got 80+ points!! disgusting!! check out on the health dept website To all that dont know ...... This placed was closed down by the hlth dept injune & sept 07. This just re-enforces everyones bad views on this place. Its truly HORRID!!! Things must have been bad in this place to get shut down. Mini Burgers Were Good, Liked The Fries, Service Was Average – I had a decent experience at Burger Bar. Nothing Too Great but also Nothing Too Bad Either. The Mini Burgers Were Good...The Milk Shake was good but overpriced, and I Enjoyed the Fries. Service was Ok.
Don't be fooled by the tasty name... – I became a citysearch member just to review this place...it was THAT bad. The food was not the issue - i mean the burgers were certainly mediocre, but the fries and toppings were decent. Beer selection was sub-par (which our waiter blamed on it being Sunday night). great location blech food – if these people could make good food they'd make a fortune in park slope...but their burger kinda stinks, no one can describe a glass of wine...I miss the place before minnow bar that would have a cafeteria style selection of middle eatern treats after wasting hard earned money on this place.

Hmmm. I have no idea where to start with this one.... – Ok, I have officially turned into one of those obnoxious people who scampers home to to their computer to write a review about a restaurant solely to take the edge off their horrible experience. Jack In The Box in the 1980s is better then Brooklyn Burger Bar – Im no foodie. But im quite critical about Burgers. So, when a place moves into the Slope and calls itself a "Burger Bar" one expects excellence, and variety. This place has niether. The burgers are dry and boring, oh and not to mention pricey. They taste like something you would expect from a school cafeteria with poor funding. When I think of a burger joint, Paul's on 2nd Ave in NYC comes to mind. Cheap, Tasty, and Reliable.
