I have been working at this community for 6 years now and absolutely love the culture. The residents add so much fun to our events and really get involved in making this feel like home. I am grateful to work in a place that is driven by enriching the lives of seniors. Each staff member looks out for the residents and even anticipates their needs. I enjoy making memories with our residents every day and learning about their lives. I hope to live in a community just as supportive when I reach the golden age.

My father was a resident of the community for four years and it was a wonderful experience. We were so impressed by the caring staff and friendly residents. The effort that is made to make each resident feel special is outstanding. As a family member is was a great relief to know my father was in such good hands.

One of the best communities I have ever been a part of! The management team and caregivers have some of the longest tenure I have ever seen in a community. It is such a welcoming environment and the residents are able to stay here with the three levels of care offered. When looking at retirement community choices for your loved one, check out Westlake Hills! You will not be disappointed.

I've already written this post on their corporate page but I'm going to write it again. Anyone who is considering sending their loved ones who Brookdale Westlake Hills needs to reconsider. My mother has been there for 3 days and already has had to be transferred back to the hospital because of the completely inadequate care that she received during her stay. Her pain management was non-existent, meals were never delivered, Essential Safety Equipment was never installed, and there was never a nurse who came in to check on her... read more

I volunteer at BDWL with my dog and Divine Canines. I find the staff to be so kind and caring, the facility clean and the residents well cared for, I especially love visiting with a 97 year old WW II Air Force vet who piloted bombing missions from England over Germany. We love hearing his stories, he is such a neat person. We call him The Colonel.
