very deceptive billing practices for college students
I have alway get great treatment at BroMenn, for all my health needs.
I had surgery at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center on 10/24/16. My surgeon was Dr. Grieco and primary care Dr. Pilcher. I received the up most care and concern from the pre-register to the turnstile door til the day I came home. I would like to thank Dr. Grieco and his team for a job well done (surgery). The ER doctor was very rude to my daughter and talked down to her. She was made to feel that they were annoyed that she came in because her condition wasn't serious enough. This is the 2nd visit my daughter has had since going to school at ISU and she had a bad experience like this both times. This time the doctor told her, "It sounds like this has been going on for a while and you're still alive." Terrible bedside manner and terrible patient care.
I was there today, and from the nurse who called the day before, to the receptionists, to all of the other medical professionals who provided care to me, everyone was compassionate, understanding and exceptional in their roles. Nurses Bernadine, Gladys and Yvonne were amazing! The chaplain, techs, and volunteers were so kind too. Thank you so much for taking great care of me.
All of the staff that I interacted with, from ER, Surgical, Recovery, Nurses, Techs and Hospitality were friendly and helpful!
