Undiscovered Treasure – This little gem at 50th St and Penn, Minneapolis is renowned for its unique menu, chef's selections, value, and attentive service. Fresh Pasta Beyond Compare! – Each time I have eaten at Broder's, I have been thoroughly impressed with the experience. It has a fun and relaxed neighborhood atmosphere with a bright interior, and is filled with wonderful smells of garlic ... and of course, THE PASTA! My fave by far is #12 (pasta sheets w/chicken, asparagus, Parmesan cheese and balsamic vinegar, and more). And if you enjoy your balsamic vinegar, they also have a devine blueberry dessert with a reduced balsamic vinegar sauce. Mmmmm
Always Impressive! – I always bring my out-of-town guests to Broder's. Everyone is undoubtedly impressed - not only by the quiet, elegant ambiance - but also by the amazing pasta and desserts! There's nothing like their caramel custard and a good glass of wine to take the edge off a rough week!
Go Once a Month! – What a unique, pleasant, and enjoyable experience it is to dine at Broder's. I have been there at least five times over the past five months and have never been disappointed (except for the wait for a table!). This is Italian food at its freshest, and with ingredients in fun and different combinations.
Fresh pasta...it makes a HUGE difference – I went to the Pasta Bar for the first time recently and now consider it to be my favorite italian in the Cities. I had never had fresh pasta before, and I don't think I can go back to the dried stuff! Our waiter was great...our food was delicious...and the presentation was perfect. The best part...wine, appetizer, food, and desert for 2...and the bill was still under $50! I will be back several times.
