We have had problems with our squad cars breaking and being at the service department for extended periods of time. These are not luxury vehicles. They are very much needed to work and be repaired quickly. It seems as though the service has fallen in quality and quickness from the past.
Cars keep getting better and the dealers keep getting worse. It’s a shame when you find the car you want but bad business tactics prevent you from buying it. I was honest and upfront and that was returned with the typical games and deception tactics. If you like the ‘back and forth’ tennis match deals... this is the place for you!
What a joke is right!! Went through the quick lube for an oil change and got told my lug nuts needed replacing due to them being swollen. Service advisor never advised of price...$184 for lug nuts that got swiollen due to over-tightening!! Broadway was the only place that touched my tires!! I called service advisors at 2 other dealerships to inquire, they both said swollen lug nuts are a legit problem, however they cover replacement through warranty, they do not screw the customer!! Fast efficient service for my oil change with a friendly staff
Fixed the noisy engine problem but not the ignition switch. My Escape sometimes takes up to 5 tries to get the engine to start. They said that they couldn't reproduce the problem? Couldn't they run some kind of diagnostic or replace the ignition switch to see if that was the problem? I hate to think that I have to wait for the car not to start at all before I can get the problem fixed. Even when I picked up the car from the shop it took 3 tries before the car started. I've always had excellent service at Broadway Automotive, both at Broadway Ford and Broadway Chevrolet. My latest service advisor was Julie Anderson, and she was outstanding.
