Caregivers (From ANY Association) need to have thorough background checks, references, etc! I've been through 6, all from Brightstar. The first one I had was the best 💘 I got another caregiver who had 2 small children, was pregnant so I thought she really needed the job. Well, she got put on bedrest, so Brightstar got ANOTHER caregiver, who would ALSO get put on bedrest! Disrespectful and hostile.
Brightstar is one of the >>lowest<< paying home care agencies in Erie. Because of this they have a *very* high turnover. Keep this in mind when attaching them to the insurance of your loved one. Keep this in mind when all the positive reviews are from two years ago?!?! The hired caregiver for your elderly parent and / or child should be paid a livable wage. This is not that agency.... Keep looking.
