Great American Bistro! – I live in the area and always enjoy Bridget Foy's. Had the chimichanga for lunch the other day it was awsome. Service was on point with a friendly touch. Very reasonably priced.
Rating – We have been regulars for several years. The food is uneven - sometimes outstanding, sometimes disappointing. But for outdoor dining, there is no better seat in the city, except maybe Katmandu and Rock Lobster. But when Bridget Foy's food is good, it is way beyond what the river places have to offer. Nice relaxed, casual environment, interesting art, interesting bar.
dining a la south street – there is only one thing to say about bridget foys....wonderful.....never had a bad meal, its my favorite place to go get a good bite for lunch, and watch the characters os soth street pass you by...no complaints..
10 – I love Bridget Foy's, this was just the most darling place I've ever dined! I can't wait to go back. It was especially exciting to have the precious Miss Foy herself as our server!
Pleasant Surprise! – We finally had a night out without our children and chose Bridget Foy's because we both wanted to eat outside. We were so surprised how delicious the food was and how attentive the waiter was to us. The salads were absolutely delicious! We had a wonderful romantic dinner.
new look-new drinks-new crowd! – For those of you looking for a change from the lines and crowds of Old City, I recommend stopping into B. Foy's on South Street---the staff is friendly, the new drinks are fabulous and the DJ's on Thurs/Fri/Sat nights from Cue Records create a chill atmosphere for a mixed crowd. The outside seating is great for people watching on South Street -- For a great summer drink, try Tara's Mai tai!
