Moved here February 1st. We love it. The office staff is very professional and our townhouse is beautiful. Also a huge shout out to the maintenance team. Within 1 day of calling about our dishwasher they came and repaired it. They also did an awesome job on snow removal.
Not very nice office staff, heating is bad, open holes near windows and sliding door.
Horrible management, very rude! In the units: Leaking windows and doors causing black mold on the walls which gets painted over and not removed, heating & cooling units out-dated and constantly break down, pest problems, mold in the carpets and ventilation system. My neighbors son has cancer. The ceiling was ruined by an explosive water heater and briarcrest told her its a liability to send anyone in to help move her stuff to a new apartment. Her son is inpatient and she lives here by herself..her family is in New York and they want her to move all of herself to a new place with no help.
If you want the bare minimum of service and mostly flimsy units with your rent increased each year, this is the place for you. Each time I've had to deal with the office, I've encountered either unprofessional or mostly inconsiderate staff. On the other hand, the maintenance crew is good, and earns the place a star.
I have been living at Briarcrest Gardens for almost a year now, and I have nothing but good things to say! The staff is very friendly, and the maintenance is taken care of as soon as you ask. This a great apartment complex, and I cannot wait to recommend it to incoming Hershey residents.
Heating is terrible. It's always freezing! I heard the place is going up for sale from one of the handymen, does anyone know when...or who's buying it? I really hope it's someone better than who has it now, and actually takes pride in the place. I would love to have a modern fridge and flooring! And hopefully dogs will still be allowed.
