Nostalgia attracts people in droves to this old-school drugstore and soda fountain established in 1946. The interiors, complete with a prescription counter, vintage lanterns, comfy booths and lots of wood-paneling, will take you back in time. The menu offers burgers, sandwiches, salads and shakes just like the old times. Apart from this, Brent's serve a very popular lemonade, malts as well as floats. The ice-creams and sundaes are popular as well. A perfect place to tuck into comfort food.

Stopped in for breakfast today. Very charming and the food was great. The highlight was the service, though. Our server was so friendly, attentive and kind. Will definitely go back next time we're in town.

Americana at its best - Wait Staff very personable - Great Drinks and Great Food
I am out with my sorority sister on a black history tour(Clinton (MS) Alumnae Chapter,Delta Sigma Theta, Inc.) Brents was used in the filming of The Help. The staff and manager (Sarah) were excellent. The atmosphere was friendly and family oriented. I ordered a burger, fries , shared onions rings and a chocolate malt. The fries were so good and fresh. I could have eaten them all day. If you haven't tried Brents you are truly missing out on some good food. Thanks to all the staff who helped make our day special.

Brent's has great atmosphere but they need to step up their game. Food took forever to come and there were only three tables of customers. They offered us free shakes for the wait which was nice but would rather have paid and had a meal in a timely fashion. We had to wait for grits which were terrible and asked to have them taken off the bill. They ended up comping the whole meal. We felt really bad for the poor waitress having to put up with poor support from the kitchen. She was wonderful.
During my travels through Jackson, MS this restaurateur ranks A-1 5 stars on my list. Wish there were 10 stars available . . . Brent deserves it.
Food was cold, waited 40 min on our food, which wasn't that great. I was very disappointed.
