The tavern that rose from two fires to be the oldest restaurant in all of the town, is worth going to see based on History alone. The food, too, is a delicious range of traditional, home-cooked fare, made from scratch. The buffet menu offers a different variety of dishes each day and the numerous pies for dessert are a truly mouthwatering end to the meal. There is an event hall that seats up to 150 people. You can also pick up a couple of souvenirs to remember the trip from the small shop before you leave.

Sight-seeing up in this area and decided to try this place. Great atmosphere, service and food. Best homemade cream pie I've had in a long time. Located by the Mississippi river which has an overlook area. Will definitely stop when we're in the area again!
