The tavern that rose from two fires to be the oldest restaurant in all of the town, is worth going to see based on History alone. The food, too, is a delicious range of traditional, home-cooked fare, made from scratch. The buffet menu offers a different variety of dishes each day and the numerous pies for dessert are a truly mouthwatering end to the meal. There is an event hall that seats up to 150 people. You can also pick up a couple of souvenirs to remember the trip from the small shop before you leave.

It was clean, had a great atmosphere and the food was good. Very neat building.

Food was good but service was terrible had to wait long time to get my tea refilled and they weren’t very busy definitely wouldn’t drive out of my way
Always a family friendly atmosphere and the best food! The staff is always so friendly and does a great job. I always recommend it to whomever goes that direction! Love this place!
