A licensed, 61-bed, not-for-profit community hospital located in southeastern Vermont, it serves a rural population of about 55,000 people in 22 towns in Vermont, New Hampshire and Massachusetts. The medical staff includes 137 board-certified physicians, both primary care and many specialists, and its 572 employees enjoy the help of over 110 active volunteers.

RecommendedWe were in town this past weekend for my brothers wedding. In a matter of the 2.5 hour drive up there my son had the worst stomach/umbilical pains ever. Not being from the area I had to google for hospitals and we ended up here. He ended up having emergency surgery to remove his appendix and from the minute we walked in the staff was amazing, beyond prompt and he was in surgery and in recovery in a matter of hours. Dr. Fox was just amazing! Thank you
Went to the ER and they were very slow, always put you in a room and forget about you.
Best place to have a baby. My family and I are beyond happy with the care we have received.
Came in for a 7:00am Procedure and they put someone else in ahead of me for no reason. This makes it really hard when you have arranged for someone to pick you up and it’s going to be 2-3 extra hours of waiting. Also hard when you have been fasting for over 24 hours and have to wait til mid-day for your procedure, already hooked up to an IV. And this is accompanied by somewhat dismissive bedside manner. I was warned to go elsewhere, but would love to be able to rely on my local hospital.
I think it is past being helped, as it has such a plethora of problems.

I read they sent a 96 year old man home with two broken arms and never called his family when he arrived at the er. What kind of place is this???
