I have defended this hospital against the naysayers for years, but I cannot do it any more. It's getting harder and harder to find anyone who thinks it is a good hospital. I live four blocks from this hospital and I will now only go to St. Joseph's hospital in south Riverview.

Thank you 3rd floor ICU nurse, Jane and the other staff who I didn't get your names. My Aunt Jen passed away today. She received exceptional care in the 3rd floor ICU. Jane was a grate help for preparing us for my aunts transition, made sure we had something to eat and sat with my aunt when we had to leave the floor. She took the time to explain this process of passing which made it easier to accept. She gave us time to grieve and let go and walked us out. God Bless.

My daughter had a car accident. She choose not to come by ambulance because she thought it was unnecessary. When she got here she was seen by a express doctor???? Who goes to express care after a car accident and is having total spine pain with limited movement... He said she needed the main ER and he was going to talk to a charge mute to get her moved over. We were told he was going to order x rays and CT scan and pain meds... She had the x rays and CT about 8:15pm 2 hours after arriving to the ER. Now it's 11:30pm and we j... read more

I visited BRH last night. I had a kidney stone hurting me so bad I was crying in the bathtub for two hours before I had my roommate take me to the ER. I waited fifteen minutes grieving in pain before they could take my vitals. After that, one of the guys hands me a cup and tells me if I happen to feel an urge, to get a sample. I managed to get a small sample before they took me to do a catscan, waiting another ten minutes in agonizing pain while they tracked down my paper wor...Continue Reading

This fucking hospital sucks. I was in the waiting room to be seen and my blood sugar was 285 this wasn't enough for them. I had to wait and they lied saying you have 4 people in front of you. Went to Tampa general hospital and got seen faster. Brandon hospital real needs to be shut down for real. Then put iv in my arm, then took blood, a ekg, xrays, kat scan and still haven't seen the doctor yet. In the waiting room of the er in so much pain. Sad another hospital has to do Brandon's work wtf smfh. Sorry business for the publ... read more

We are grateful to the entire staff including the valet service, Daniel the security guard, Jeff, Paul and especially the attending physician - Arthur Hagelgans, PA who treated my husband at the ER last night. We were surprised and delighted by his knowledge, compassion, attention to detail, bedside manner - his ability to communicate to us clearly (no language barrier), and his follow through with testing ~ eliminating my husband's pain and giving us direction to get further medical attention. Every single staff member we e... read more

This must be the worst hospital in Florida! My mother came in for kidney stones and 3 days later still here!! Hospital does not communicate with patients or family! Inconsistent when they do. Shame on the medical community. Physicians not writing notes and no one know what next steps are for discharge!!!

I have been here almost a week. I have to say tje staff was excellent. I was amazed that not one person was bad. All the doctors that cared for me were awesome. The nurses were beyond great. I had one nurse i would trust with my life, her name is Shiny. There was Darnell who was an angel. And a sweet young girl named Janellee. I can never show how much i appreciate their care. Thanks so very much. Thanks also to Patty, Emily, Lucy a few more of the awesome staff.
