Dr. Saunders took the time to talk with me and really evaluate what was needed. He gave me options for treatment and enough information to make an informed decision about our next steps.
Dr Saunders repaired my rotator cuff injury. He is attentive to your needs and concerns about every aspect of your injury. He explains all options throughly and doesn't push for just the surgery option. I went with physical therapy and a cortisol shot to relieve the shoulder pain the 1st go around, which helped for a little while. Dr. Saunders is an excellent surgeon. He has great bedside manners, and takes time to explain everything, including your xrays. If I ever needed another surgery I would not hesitate to have him perform it. I saw his PA yesterday and she was also very good. Actually, I have no fault with him or his staff.
Dr. Sanders is very caring and takes time to listen to your symptoms, as well as take time to manipulate the joint of concern. He doesn’t make a preconceived decision and makes recommendations based on the patient’s well being.
I didn't actually see the doctor. I saw his PA. She is the one who did the exam and determined that I needed to come back for an MRI and then I will see Dr Saunders when I come back for my 3rd visit to go over the results
Dr. Saunders explaining the procedure.
The wait time for an appointment is always very long, 1-2 hours, but the staff are super nice and the Dr is very thorough, explaining everything step by step.
Dr was cautious in administering a steroid injection preferred to wait and see , if the injury would get better on its own. I could see both the pro’s and con’s of waiting.
Very understandable explanations. Also, a long-range plan to address joint pain without needless surgery.
