Professional / friendly Surgery results beyond my expectations. Would highly recommend.
Dr. Skidmore is absolutely the best around, I would recommend him to anyone having severe pain and in need of surgery after exhausting all other options which is what he does. He also did my aunts surgery. I’d give him 10 stars if I could.

Dr. Skidmore was very thorough in diagnosing my back issue and explained things very well in deciding whether surgery was necessary. after not being able to walk and severe pain in my lower back and groin area Dr. Skidmore performed surgery and from day one pain was gone. Went thru physical therapy which I will also state the staff there were fantastic. Never had an excellent experience from staff from the beginning to0 the end nor did Dr Skidmore spend time answer all my questions and showing and explaining what was wrong and causing the pain. I would not hesitate recommending Mayfield clinic and Dr. Skidmore and his staff to anyone with back problems.
Dr. Skidmore has been my back doctor for over 10 years. I wouldn't trust anyone else to operate on my back (2 surgeries). His staff is always friendly and prompt, whether on the phone or in person, they don't make you wait days for an answer.
From the time I found out I had brain cancer to surgery date was just a few. I went from a normal functioning 64 woman one day to someone who could not get up on her own. Dr. Skidmore was very honest with my family about my possible outcome, did not look the best. Today, I am at home, on my won doing everything I did before. Thank you Dr. Skidmore for saving my life.
Dr. Skidmore is a gifted surgeon who happens also to be a very nice gentleman. He did exactly what I needed done surgically, resulting in dramatic improvement in my condition. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him if you need to undergo neurosurgery. He’s the best of the best, and his assistant, a very patient and kind young lady, is wonderful as well.
Dr Skidmore is the most compassionate, caring skilled neurosurgeon I have encountered. He takes the time to listen, he cares, he is knowledgeable and more importantly, got me out of pain and fully recovered from a terrible back situation leading to pain down my leg. I’m so grateful he is available in my area to perform surgery. We are fortunate to have someone with his skill set and expertise. I can’t thank him enough!
