Been with Mayfield for over 30 years and 3 surgeries. Excellent care all the time. Dr. Skidmore performed my last two surgeries and the results have been great. They're never in a hurry to do surgery but when the time comes the output has been awesome.
Great bedside manner. Very reassuring and answered all of my concerns. Would recommend him to anyone. Surgery and glad to have Dr Skidmore as my surgeon.

There was hardly any wait for my appointment. Dr Skidmore was very friendly, he never seemed in a rush. He took the time to answer all my questions and explain my condition and what needed to be done. His bedside manner was very friendly and kind. I travel 6 hours to see the Doctors at Mayfield Brain and Spine and it is well worth the drive.
From first phone call, thru first visit, thru surgery, thru PT, to finial visit there is nothing to change. Simply outstanding! Pain free
I had spinal fusion in October, 2023 and had zero pain in my leg after surgery. This was after dealing with the pain for 2 years with no relief. Dr. Skidmore is extremely professional, no nonsense and his PT and office staff are excellent. Will recommend him and Mayfield to anyone.
When I went into Dr. Skidmore’s office and a wheelchair. He set up my surgery for my lower back and when he got done with my surgery, I walked out and I feel awesome. I would highly recommend Dr. Skidmore to anyone for a back ache. He is awesome. I went to him when I couldn’t get another doctor to find out what was wrong with me. He located it right away on the MRI took me into surgery and I came out feeling the best I have felt in 10 years
