Dr. Boyajian was thoughtful and respectful in discussing our child's diagnosis and options moving forward. Though we knew he had a busy day (our appointment was moved up 3 hours first thing this morning) he did not send any signals of being rushed and spent much more time with us explaining things than we expected. He did not press us to choose one option over the other going forward and presented us with the facts to be able to choose the right path for our family. We really appreciated our visit with him!
He told me to give up on my child when she was 7 months old because “she’ll never talk” due to her disability. He refused to do her surgery due to her having a disability despite her disability not affecting anything to do with surgery. What he did is discriminating against people with disabilities. He then sent me a letter stating how she will never be anything anyway and I should just stop trying, then billed me over $500 for an appointment that he just insulted my child at for 10 minutes.
