The place was completely gutted in 2006 and was rebuilt again. The restaurant is famous for its wonderful oysters, seafood platter and shrimps. My wife and I are in town because I have a job interview Monday and stumbled onto Bowers island . This place was great !!! Great food great price and portion sizes perfect. Also a good beer selection . The view of the water and decor perfect . If your ever in Charelston go bring your appetite you won't be sorry . Vanessa goodness and I will be back I promise you that.

My second trip here (from Ohio). I love this off-the-beaten-path seafood restaurant. The water views are beautiful. Great outdoor seating area. Fresh seafood. It's just a fun place to visit!

My Husband and I set out to eat with nowhere in mind and saw the sign and have seen hundred times just never realized I say it was a restaurant �����its a gem of a place�with amazing views�Delicious food � WOW going back for sure�
