I have always had great care when I have been at Borgess hospital. Good food too.
I have been in the ER with my 86 year old father since 5:00 am. Only 3 other people in the ER. We are being told it will be at least 7:15 before anyone is seen. Apparently This is when more nurses come on duty. Short staffed seems to be the NORM for Borgess. Brought him here about a year ago and he needed two stents. Same experience as an inpatient. Short staffed, told one thing by one person, something entirely different by someone else. Very disappointed in the service.
Caring and great staff and food ain't bad at all for hospital food. I like I xxx an order when ever I like and what ever I wanted so they don't just say u have this. It's a nice sized choices
So far the staff has done great with my dad's care etc.
The ER doctor and staff were absolutely wonderful. The CDU nursing staff and PA made a very difficult situation much easier. I have been incredibly impressed with the care and professionalism during my dad's stay.
