Did not have my records gave request form 2 weeks before appointment.I was in pain the Doctors changed from Vanderbilt Bone and wanted to stay with same Doctor was told they had not retrieved my records and to go back to VANDERBILT not professional at all waited an hour in waiting room to be told get lost. Would not recommend.
I had an appointment with one of the foot/ankle doctors at 10:15 today. He did surgery on my foot in December 2017. I made the appointment to check on a strange bump that popped up. I believe it is a stitch that remained. At 11:00 I asked how much longer it would be and was told approximately another hour. It is rude and inconsiderate to expect a patient to wait 2 hours past their appointment time to see a doctor. Someone needs to get a hand on scheduling. This is just not acceptable.
I recently injured my Achilles while playing pickup basketball, thus needing surgery to repair it. Having been fortunate over my 41 years of existence, I have never had an injury requiring surgery prior. So I was very nervous and anxious going into this surgery. I've personally seen Dr. Thomas in the past he is wonderful I can't say enough good things about him ! He also took care of a dear family member and prayed with us both before my dear family member procedure. Wish we had more Doctors and medical professional like Dr. Thomas he truly is God sent !
I have been seeing Dr McNamara for almost 10 years. I honestly can’t imagine life without him. I had back surgery in high school and figured I would be in pain for the rest of my life. After seeing other doctor and being told nothing was wrong with me except being overweight I went and saw Dr. Brian Perkinson and right off he said my hip joint was bad. Dr Perkinson done my hip replacement and was outstanding. And just waiting now to have him do my other hip replacement.
On February 8th, Dr. Michael McNamara did a Lumbar Fusion on my L5 and shored-up two bulging discs above it. He and his team put me at ease at every step with their kindness and skill. I fell off my roof in 2001 and hurt my neck. I’m a nurse so I knew I wanted to complete all conservative treatment before resorting to surgery!! In 2014 I had had enough. The nerve pain was so bad I had my first anterior cervical fusion in Chicago. Later that year I moved to TN and discovered my fusion had not healed.
