mahi was great but too spicy for me. wife's cajun shrimp taco meal was very good too. all that aside, the towering chocolate cake desset was omgawesome. largest piece of cake in the world. server isaac did a great job. we ll be back! ��

The location is amazing, the views are great. The food however was mediocre at best and the service was horrible. Waited at door for about 20 mins to be seated as the sign stated, finally went to find someone only to be told to just seat ourselves. Server seemed very put out to take our order, then when she brought out the appetizers (stuffed fried mushroom) we got no silverware. After waiting almost 10 mins we had to go get it ourselves. We stop at the Boathouse Cantina when in Salida for a ride or a cruise. Sometimes better than others but all in all a pretty good place to eat. Will be back so for me that means it's good. And the view of the river is great so we always try to sit by the windows or outside!

My husband and I came here for our 11th yr anniversary. It was a great experience with great food, drinks and service. Don't be afraid to try anything here. The green chilli here is the Bomb! It nice, clean with great service and a GORGEOUS river side view. I'll be back!

Food was tasty and reasonably quick, ambiance was nice, but the service and the hostesses rude handling when we expressed problems took much away from the lunch. With no acknowledgment of the customers displeasure.
