Nothing special about the park. The swimming area was the highlight of the park, and that isn't saying much. Campsites need better maintenance, quite hours need to be enforced, dog need to be leashed, and bathrooms were horrible.
We are here now and love the park and the trails. Very relaxing and beautiful. One negative though is that the dog leash rules are not being enforced. One of our neighbors lets their two dogs run free all the time including on the trails. If the rules are in place, please enforce them. It only takes one bad pet parent for an accident to happen.
This place is wonderful. Beautiful lake. Friendly park Ranger. Clean campsites. Nice shower houses. Love the swim area.
The friendliest Park ever! The Rangers went above and beyond to tell us about the trails and events. Special thanks from Sisters On The Fly to Rangers Alain Marin and Andy Cochran for there kindness! Best State Park ever!
This is a great place to go hiking with your family. There are plenty of areas to camp and picnic. The headquarters building has a great gift shop. We enjoy the annual activities hosted here such as the Easter egg hunt and kid fish trout pond fishing. Thank you to all those who make these local activities possible.
The Christmas lighting is great. we loved it. cant wait to see what next year has.
