Super relax place to get away! Just outside DALLAS my family enjoy stay in fort Sherman area in the park is so calm and close to the lake!
Cool state park. One of our favorites so far. We have stayed in most around east Texas at least once. Shelters are awesome. Great for winter or summer with plexi covers.
Beautiful park, clean and well groomed facilities. Lots of activities throughout the year. Staff members are courteous and professional.

Great park met a nice woman walking in the Cherokee camp area. Date was 3-19-20. She stated that she walked camp area dregularly. I didn't get her name. Wish I had.
This lake is beautiful. Property here has been handed down through two generations of our family and will continue to our kids. My husband enjoyed growing up at the lake and so will our grandchildren.
WeLove the way it’s set up. Do you feel like you’re alone yet you’re not alone. Good size trail hikes. Very well-kept. We highly recommend it.
