trails are GREAT. some standing water after heavy rains but it's very quiet and we loved how wide the trails are! the 2yr old easily hiked 1mile of the trails. we take snacks and take a little dip in the swimming area after a good hike!
Nice, well maintained hiking trails. Trail system is well marked and easy to follow. Most trails are kid friendly with just a few steep spots. Watch out for poison ivy though, it was everywhere, so don't wander off trail.
This is a Beautiful Park with great trails through the woods. The camping sites and restrooms have always been well taken care of, and the staff has always been friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place.. Thank you Bob Sandlin State Park!

officer martin was very disrespectful came to our campsite saying we where being to loud we apologized and he continued to keep questioning us he seen one of us have a beer in a koozie and wrote him a ticket no one had been disrespectful. very uncalled for it was 10:30. we are state park pass holders and will never be back
